Chantrell Gunbus Sky Bandits Brochure 1985

A 4-page marketing brochure advertising the forthcoming release of "Gunbus", mooted for Summer 1985. Clearly there were problems bringing this production to fruition as it emerged in 1986 with a new Director & was re-titled as "Sky Bandits". An improbable tale of two western bank robbers who become WWI fighter pilots, the film was released in America & parts of Europe but is believed to have gone straight to video in the UK.

As is often the case, Chantrell's artwork (we show first the front & back cover of the marketing brochure), is the best thing about the film but sadly appears not to have come out as a poster in the UK. The front cover artwork of the exploding zeppelin, was, however, used as a poster in Germany ( see http://www.emovieposter.com/gallery/inc/archive_image.php?id=1032097) & also graced the cover of the 1987 UK VHS release. The inside cover is a hastily drawn "rough" which Chantrell probably never expected to be published.
