A b/w photo (6 3/4"x 10" approx) of Chantrell concept artwork for the UK 3-Sheet poster for horror spoof "Carry On Screaming" (1966).
This image has only recently come to light. It shows an almost "finished" artwork. The UK 3-Sheet poster finally printed (image courtesy of emovieposter) shows that Chantrell re-positioned the two key artwork elements but omitted the terrific image of a screaming Kenneth Williams. We also show an image of the Quad poster for comarison too. The photo here, however, adds another example to Chantrell's back-catalogue of "Carry On" advertising memorabilia. A fascinating & rare piece.
