In 1974, Richard Burton & Sophia Loren were matched for a re-make of "Brief Encounter". Here is a very early Chantrell "rough" (15" x 21") for a Quad poster design for the film. We have been unable to locate an image of the printed Quad (if you have an image to donate we'd be grateful). However, a Chantrell design was definitely used for the UK 1 & 3-sheet posters (see below courtesy of emovieposter.com)
