Carry On Cowboy UK 1-Sheet Chantrell Artwork

Made in 1965, "Carry On Cowboy" spoofed the American Western genre & introduced the world to the likes of  "The Rumpo Kid" (aka Sid James), "Judge Burke" (Kenneth Williams) & "Big Heap" (Charles Hawtrey). Chantrell produced artwork both for the Quad & the UK 1-Sheet Poster & presented here is the artwork for the UK 1-Sheet Poster (Poster image courtesy of www.moviepostermem.com). Included with the sale of the artwork is an original photo of Sid James which Chantrell used as reference whilst creating the artwork. Beautifully painted by Chantrell, the artwork also includes images of Angela Douglas as "Annie Oakley" & Joan Sims as "Belle". The bullet holed motif on the upper portion is a nice touch.

Chantrell thought sufficiently highly of this piece to have subsequently framed it for display in his home. The artwork is on artboard & measures 27 1/2"x 20 1/2". Overall the framed item measures 24 1/2"x 33". Please note that due to the size/weight of this item, it will need to be collected or else a separate quote for shipping will be required.
