Carry On Cowboy Artwork Photo 1965

An unusual item from the Chantrell archive being an original b/w photo with painted annotations (12"x 15") showing cartoon artwork prepared for "Carry On Cowboy" (1965). It is believed that the original artwork was by cartoonist Colin Leary but possibly Chantrell was experimenting with a different colour scheme, hence the painted area.

NB. Although this artwork didn't appear on the standard UK posters, it was published in some format of marketing material (see below, image courtesy of moviepostershop.com).
