This is Chantrell's original "rough" for the UK 1-Sheet for the punk musical, "Breaking Glass" (1980). As can be seen with comparison to the printed UK 1-Sheet poster (& the Quad), the rough is a very close approximation to the finished article. An interesting feature to note, is the added strapline, "The Experience is Shattering" for Chantrell often contributed ideas for text such as this. The fractured glass imagery is another stock Chantrell device (witness his poster designs for "Lifetaker", "Through the Looking Glass" etc). This piece off original artwork measures 12"x 17 1/2" & is in EX condition (W).
