A rare promotional flyer (8 1/4"x 11") for the mooted Hammer film, "Blood Will Have Blood". Hammer frequently commissioned Chantrell to produce pre-production artwork for marketing purposes. Michael & James Carreras would use the prototype artwork in financing pitches (particularly with American distributors). However, sometimes the artwork would be printed as promotional flyers such as this to further hype films in their pre-production phases.

The nudity apparent here would never have been allowed onto a finished Quad poster. However, having undergone the title change to "Demon's of the Mind", EMI, (Hammer's distributor) used alternative artwork for the Quad (please see the example below). There is evidence of disquiet from those most closely associated with the film about the alternative artwork used for the poster in Marcus Hearn's book "The Hammer Vault" (2011).
