More about this item:

Original Chantrell Quad poster artwork (20 1/4"x 27") for the Sean Connery American comedy "A Fine Madness" (1966). The film was made as Connery was starting to become concerned about being typecasted as James Bond, this film (sandwiched between "Thunderball" 1965 & "You Only Live Twice" 1967), being a deliberate attempt to diversify & demonstrate his broader acting credentials. The printed Quad is shown for the purpose of comparison.

Chantrell's artwork is based on the American poster design (see below image courtesy of emovieposter) which is probably why he did not sign this piece. The gouache artwork is on cut-outs which have been applied to artboard. Chantrell has additionally painted directly onto the artboard the red/blue text & the humorous sketch below the "A" certificate. Interestingly, Chantrell appears to have hand painted all the other cast/credits text which have subsequently been over-pasted with strips of printed text.
